My philosophy is “if it’s too loud, you’re too old” but when I went to Coopers for the first time (it was late night) it was really loud in there even for me. Did you find it loud at meal time?

I was there in February and loved the place. Great beer and the one item I tried, the Scotch Egg, was spectacular. Loved the house made mustard they served with it!

Best Reuben I’ve had in Wisconsin and a fantastic beer selection. Will have to go back for the unique Irish traditional ? breakfast menu.

Wow, what an unfortunate experience! While we found the focus at Osteria Papavero to be on the food, rather than the service, we’ve never run into an experience like the one you had. I’m sure the owner, Francesco Mangano, would want to hear about what you went through and would make things right.

tried to make a nice romantic valentines evening and paid high dollar for terrible unprofessional service and I could literally fit my main course on a small spoon! To top it off when I got home and checked my bank account I found out they more than doubled there tip. Nice atmosphere, terrible rude management!

Wouldn’t you know that we have a great Bastille Day dinner with plans to go back, and then they close. Good to hear that Chef Sami has plans for a new venture for 2010. Hoping with you that moules will be on the new menu.
